We are looking for a dedicated team player to join delivery team in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) team.

In this role, you are expected to ensure customs clearance for cargo in transit and with destination Burkina Faso, build sustainable relationships with customs authorities to guarantee moderate impact on Business Unit results.

Key responsibilities
- Provide costing for cargo customs clearance as per request
- Generate IM4/ EX1 as per cargo requirements, or any other declaration and exonerations needed for cargo customs clearance
- Apply and follow up customs cargo control
- Act as a key contact and build strong and sustainable relationship with customs authorities and relevant parties intervening in the process
- Has responsibility for providing expertise in customs regulations, procedures and policies in place
- Handle incoming customs clearance queries & issues
- Ensure customer satisfaction through a positive customer experience and a smooth execution of the end to end shipment lifecycle;
- Ensure all possible optimizations applied while offering costing for customs clearance to maximise profitability
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly report to Management;
- Develop strong understanding of customers’ business drivers, needs and requirements.

We are looking for
- Has good knowledge of Sydonia World or certification
- Has Previous experience in shipping/logistics is an advantage.
- Able to perform and make decisions under pressure
- Self-driven and goal-oriented
- Team player
- Has Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage customer networks as well as negotiation process
- Fluent in English and French (written and oral)
- Problem solving skills with a strong customer focus.
- Can build and maintain a strong network of customers.
- Successfully manages the negotiation process.
- Has an ability to qualify leads.
- A clear communicator at all levels of the organization.
- Has knowledge of market competitors and industry
- Confident in decision making.
- Strong organizational skills with understanding of prioritization
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
