Background and Context
On 22 July 2021, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (Global Fund) and the World Food Programme (WFP) signed a partnership agreement on the provision of health supply chain services in Liberia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health (MoH) under the Government of Liberia. The scope of activities includes Long-haul transport service (including loading and unloading) of medicines and health supplies from the Central Medical Store (CMS) to 13 county depots and 29 hospitals across the country (excluding Margibi and Montserrado counties); and Last mile delivery service (including loading and unloading) to 150 health facilities (HFs) and hospitals in Margibi and Montserrado counties."
The objective of the position is to support effective delivery of finance, budget and administration support services in order to facilitate transparent and efficient utilization of financial resources for the Health Supply Chain Project.
What will you do in this position?
Ensuring data is accurately captured for stock movements at the Central Medical Store level (reception of cargo, warehousing, inventory…), data entries with all relevant data including unit value, volume and weight.
Making every effort to ensure that the Warehouse Manager/Pharmacist issues the necessary documents when transferring responsibility for the cargo, ensuring that the information and the cargo transferred matches the request originally submitted by the donors.
Track and send all items with missing information to the supervisor so that the necessary research can be done to ensure complete data entry in the system (including unit value, volume, weight etc...).
Assist in avoiding any discrepancies in the information provided and ensure that the actual actions/information have been recorded in mSupply.
Record all logistics transactions related to stock movement in mSupply and ensure that all information available in the paper documentation is transferred back into the system.
Ensure that activity reports are provided according to the procedures and processes defined by the organization and correspond to the operational needs of the report requesters.
Follow up on cost-sharing agreements with other UN agencies or Customers and raise the related JVs on time.
Give support for the operational transactions if needed.
Run proposals for TRCO/NWS payments and coordinate with payment releases to ensure a smooth flow of payments.
Check and post staff trip documents and park JVs when needed.
Carrying out theoretical stock movements under the effective supervision of the Operations and Systems Manager.
At warehouse level, ensure the existence of documentation in line with the procedures in force, in collaboration with the Logistics and Pharmacy teams (LTIs,WB, Packing list and stock orders, etc).
Timely production of daily reports, as well as follow-up of required action points.
Perform other related duties as required.

Education:
Completion of secondary school with a post-secondary diploma in logistics, management, computer science or other related field; a university degree in the same fields or an equivalent combination of education and experience would be an asset.
Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics (transportation, warehousing, purchasing),
experience in customer service and cargo tracking.
Excellent performance in logistics activity and knowledge of reports/data entry, and knowledge of supply chain management procedures.
Able to follow procedures and processes (logistics supply chain),
Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure alone or as part of a team.
Communication, problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a team.
Fluency in both oral and written communication in the English language (Level C) is required.
