The assignment aims to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship support capacities of African Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The project helps universities and other tertiary institutions enhance their innovation ecosystems by developing institutional strategies, strengthening enterprise support services, fostering partnerships with the private sector, and improving their ability to design bankable projects that can attract investment and development financing. The ultimate objective is to equip HEIs to better support innovation-driven entrepreneurship, job creation, and economic transformation across Africa.
