Profil du candidat
You hold a Doctor of Science degree, with 4 to 7 years of experience (including PhD) in heterogeneous catalysis applied to engineering, catalysis, or chemistry.
You are fluent in English; additional knowledge of French is a plus.
You possess very good written and oral communication skills, are proactive, and capable of taking responsibility.
You demonstrate scientific curiosity, a sense of innovation, and rigor in project management.
You can conduct several studies simultaneously within multidisciplinary teams.
You are willing to travel once or twice a month to different European countries.
Activités
Your missions:

- Develop and coordinate research and development projects or studies within the framework of the Low Carbon Processes R&D program and its Gas Circularity and Valorization theme:

Contribute to the development of electrified catalytic conversion technologies that have the potential to be applied on TotalEnergies assets to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
Actively contribute to the technology scouting, benchmarking, and analysis.
- Contribute to Innovation by planning and carrying out experimental tests (with the support of technicians, operators, or external collaborators).

- Interpret and validate experimental results. Write corresponding technical reports.

- Coordinate existing collaborative research projects with universities and other centers of expertise.

- Contribute to establishing new projects internally and externally.

- Contribute to the transformation of research projects into potential business cases of interest for TotalEnergies.

- Evaluate the carbon footprint of new technologies, their economic values for the Company and their implementation scenarios in the industrial sites.

- Contribute to technological watch in the fields studied and to the establishment of a long-term vision of the Low Carbon Processes program in terms of research and development.

Contexte et environnement
We are looking for a R&D engineer in heterogeneous catalysis (m/f/x) within the OneTech Branch of TotalEnergies.
The job is located in Feluy and also offers homeworking.

The OneTech Segment’s mission is to provide the technological and scientific expertise necessary to support development projects and provide support to the operations of all TotalEnergies activities (oil and biofuels, natural gas and green gases, renewables, and electricity) worldwide.
