How can you make a difference?

Monitoring and reporting of Learning & Development

Support Learning & Development Manager in tracking and reporting on indicators related to Learning and Development workplans
Assist in the planning, monitoring, implementation, and reporting of learning and career development program impact, and related budget
Collect and analyse data from multiple sources to identify capacity gaps, and to inform the content of activities related to learning, performance management, and career development programmes
Manage information systems on human resources related to talent management, analyse data, and draft reports to inform management decisions
Capacity development event management

Assist with registration of event participants, manage the logistics of learning events, and facilitate any required travel and accommodation arrangements
Support the drafting and maintenance of knowledge products related to learning and development (intranet site, news articles, invitations, announcements)
Support the dissemination of best practices, and distribution of learning and training materials and best practices within the WCAR Communities of Practice
Partnership management

Network with other UN agencies and private institutions to identify opportunities for common initiatives, resource sharing and event planning
Serve as member of the Regional Human Resources Development team secretariat
Provide technical support to HR Focal Points of Country Offices and Regional Office on HR Learning & Development services for talent development and engagement
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, Social Sciences, or related areas.
A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in human resources is required.
Prior experience working in a UN system will be considered an asset.
Familiarity with HR tools and systems will be an asset.
Fluency in English and French is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
