ADMINISTRATION COORDINATOR
ROLE PURPOSE
The Administration Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating administration and security management in the SC Brazil Office. The holder of the position will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to the SC Brazil office team, primarily in general office management, office and equipment maintenance, visa/travel management, asset/inventory management, security management and supply chain management. Additionality, the holder of this position will be responsible for being the security focal point of Save the Children’s office in Brazil. The holder of the position will contribute and guarantee compliance with SCI's rules, regulations, policies, and standards throughout the operation of SC in Brazil.
To be successful, you will bring/have:
· Professional studies and/or demonstrable experience in International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid, Social/Political Sciences and/or related.
· Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
· Demonstrated ability to establish administrative and security management systems.
· Relevant experience working with international cooperation and/or humanitarian aid organizations (minimum 3 years).
· Experience in areas of support for humanitarian operations (logistics, security, HR, finance, etc.).
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to work autonomously (excellent organizational skills, planning, analytical development, synthesis).
· Strong team player, able to work effectively with others towards the achievement of common objectives.
· Capacity to navigate complexity.
· Commitment to the aims and principles of Save the Children. A good understanding of the Save the Children mandate and child focus and an ability to ensure this continues to underpin all aspects of the job.
· Flexibility, adaptability, and availability to travel in and outside of Brazil.
· Desirable: Spanish, English and Portuguese Proficiency.
