PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Responsible for delivering the agreed business targets for the Area including developed of assigned Key accounts. Key to the role is building a solid pipeline of attractive business and focusing sales resources to deliver this through coaching direct reports in developing client strategies. You support the sales effort through internal and external networking by ensuring that your own portfolio of strategic accounts exceed their targets. You partner with the various CX & Product Managers to foster a client centric focus that assists their business as well as expands our footprint beyond ocean. Ensure that the Maersk brand identity comes through strongly in all our customer interactions demonstrating our integrator strategy. Through Key and important account management you support the business across all regions and areas. You interact with numerous key client stakeholders, including C level, as well as within Maersk and with sister companies or JV’s. If a Key Account responsibility sits in your location – you will be required to own and steer this account globally.

Key Responsibilities:
Achieve volume and revenue targets for your account base, including acquisition
Anchor strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with global models
Define targets and priorities for the sales team focusing on identifying the right customers for Maersk and its growth ambitions.
Build Sustainable pipeline management
Facilitate cross functional and key account customer prioritisation – influence without authority
Effective account management
Provide constant team coaching for Active Results
Review team sales performance and identify possible issues in order to provide better service.
Build and Support the Delivery for the Unique Customer Value Proposition / Segmentation management

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

Required Skillset 
Minimum 3 years experience leading a team
Experience working with an Automotive Vertical Management
