As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of performance, with direct responsibility to grow and develop our logistics and services footprint across the Area. You will be required to support new business relationships, preparing, and executing plans to ensure that we achieve the best results for both our business and our customers. In addition, you will need to own the strategy to help achieve our national targets and deliver results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work cross functionally to drive performance of local product portfolio and facilitate product development.
Drive standardization and centralization of business and system processes.
Set strategic direction for L&S product in line with Maersk global guidance.
Ensure the operational platform remains up-to-date based on required improvements.
Analysis of market landscape and vertical specific needs and trends. Constantly evaluate value proposition and assess the competitive landscape.
You will be driving the product awareness and ensure our sales force understand our service offerings.
Work with key stakeholders in both commercial and product to set local targets and drive vendor performance.
Ensure data quality and transparency of PnL’s.
Maintains Business Development database and Project/Opportunity Pipeline for assigned geography/segment.
Responsible for process governance and adherence to defined standard operating processes.
Takes part in investment evaluations and acquisition projects within segment/geographic scope.

REQUIREMENTS
Strong depot operations and system knowledge.
Stakeholder management.
Commercial engagement at senior management level..
Understanding of supplier operations and systems.
Proactive / Self-starter.
5+ years of Logistics experience.
