Would you like to be part of a value driven, commercially oriented international environment where we enable global trade every day? As the Direction setting Manager you will be responsible for driving the frontline focus for sales with respect to priorities in the coming 3-6 weeks.

You will decide, in collaboration with Sales Management and the available product capacity, on where focus should be in terms of product growth. Your position will be an anchor point for the Product organisation as a gateway into the Area Direct Transport Sales team. By developing a commercial plan for the lead conversion into Sales actions there is clear alignment from Area DTS to contribute to the success of the Area Business Plans and targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with Area product to develop the Area Sales direction to meet asset utilization challenges and product growth initiatives:
Liaise and triage across Area Direct Transport Sales team for volume drives on specific focused products.
Filter out noise and prioritise the products that Sales must focus on to drive success in Area Business Plan.
Sales representative within the Maersk Operating System for the Area product team.
Align with product on new launches and help build sales pipeline

Works with Marketing to anchor marketing initiatives with clear Sales ownership:
Ensure Marketing generated Leads are triaged to the correct account owner in Sales or Business Development Managers.
Follow up lead progression with Sales account owner.
Owns overview of contract compliance (aggregate) to understand levers downstream
Commercial planning for gaps to achieve the Area Business Plan investment cases:

Collaborate with others, including product, sales, and other relevant teams to solidify customer specific plans for asset investments, and drive Sales teams to deliver on those plans.

Marketing lead follow up with Sales

CONSULTED ABOUT:
Future asset & product growth plans
Upcoming Digital Marketing Campaigns
Product development (based on sales feedback)
