Under guidance of the Area HSSE Manager, this position is responsible for the implementation of company HSSE policies, standards in accordance with local and global HSSE regulations to ensure safe and secure operations for our internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, execute and monitor Health, Safety, Security and Environmental company policies, procedures, and systems.
Ensure local and regional specific industrial and governmental legislations are met. Provide updated information and knowledge on HSSE. Conduct improvements when required.
Train, guide and support internal and external stakeholders for function specific issues in line with legal, compliance and company-wide regulations.
Assist/lead/report appropriate incident investigation. Manage non-routine problems.
Conduct risk assessment and recommend actions to be taken.
In consultation with HSSE manager, assist applicable HSSE reports.
Conduct HSSE training and increase awareness.
We’re looking for:
University Degree in Engineering or HSSE is essential.
Local functional certificate valid by Governmental authorities is must if required by the law.
NEBOSH International Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety is preferred.
3-5 Years’ experience in HSSE especially in logistics operations. In-depth know-how of both theoretical and practical aspects of HSSE Management System is essential
Strong HSSE Leadership and Culture
Expertise in risk management processes and incident investigation methods,
Know-how of local compliance and HSSE legislative requirements
Strong understanding of Control of Work practices (i.e., hazardous goods, working at height hazards, lifting, ergonomic hazards, and workplace transport, etc.)
Reporting skills for statistical analysis, scorecards, gap analysis, risk assessment and/or applicable registers
Capability to manage relationship at all levels and proactive perspective with multitask working style
Advanced level of English level and level of MS Office Programs
Open to travel different sites (i.e., office, terminal, warehouse etc.) – min. 40 % required.
