Sudan is experiencing unprecedented levels of food insecurity, with over half the population—25.6 million people—in need of assistance. WFP is scaling up its emergency operations despite enormous challenges due to access limitations, insecurity, and a rapidly evolving conflict. The World Bank funded Sudan SANAD Emergency Safety Nets Project seeks to support households cope with the impact of the ongoing crisis and food insecurity.
The SANAD project will support 552,500 beneficiaries across 8 states with cash assistance for twelve months. The Project Team requires additional staff to support effectively coordinate downstream follow-ups, data validation, and operational planning.

Job purpose:

To achieve these objectives, the Project Team requires an IT Solutions Associate, SC6, to carry out specialized and/or standardized tasks to support the Cash Assistance delivery portfolio for the SANAD Project. The role will be under the direct supervision of the Digital Services Lead in Technology Unit with periodic interface with the Project Coordinator and Programme team. The incumbent will provide technical support for the planning and implementation of, beneficiary registrations and distributions end-to-end through Digital Assistance Services (DAS). Provision of Digital Assistance Services to WFP Corporate Services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

Support offices across the country for an efficient implementation of their programmes, leveraging the DAS platform and other solutions.
Capacity building for cooperating partners to enable them to support in beneficiary registrations and distributions as needed.
Assess cards and equipment requirements to ensure continuous provision to support operations Provide technical support to DAS operations.
Analyze requirements and plan support for implementation across the country with other stakeholders Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and service providers to define needs and select appropriate partners for the execution of our DAS operations.
Work with field offices to prepare and execute DAS implement plans in coordination with all stakeholders. Gather data, analyze, and produce compelling reports and dashboard to provide facts about implementations and inform strategic decisions on programmes.
Perform other related duties as required.
STANDARD MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area.

Experiences: Six years of experiences in the related functional area.

Language: Fluency in English language and Arabic language
