A.P Maersk Gabon is looking for a candidate to take up the role of a Landside Transportation Agent in Libreville.
This position holder will be responsible for the successful execution of cargo delivery through Transported by Maersk Models (TbM) namely Trucks, Barges, Rail, Air and LCL in Gabon and completing formalities and ensuring proper cargo and assets dispatching to eliminate wastes and deliver customer promise.

Key responsibilities:
Liaising and preparing transport plan with suppliers, including the triangulation opportunities identification.
Manage vendors to help deliver an excellent customer experience through timely and cost-efficiency.
In case required, may contact customers.
Legal compliance related to Customs regulations and AEO obligations.
Identify process gaps and be actively involved in working on improvements.
Optimize the asset utilization.
Case management execution and monitoring to communicate with customers/vendors.
Identify and drive triangulation opportunities.
Approve vendors invoice before processing with the payment.
Main requirements:
2-3 Years of experience in logistics, transportation, and operation management.
Fluency in French and English is a Must.
Good knowledge of MS Package.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Very organized and dynamic
Prioritization capabililities
Understanding of the local market landscape
Strong execution mindset
Solution oriented and Analytical
Customer oriented and Cost conscious.
