This is a great opportunity to join our new to build Asset Maintenance (AM) organization in Tangier and play a key role in driving reliability improvements in our terminals by defining the reliability strategy and developing techniques and competences for continuous improvement in order to establish reliability engineering as an integral part of our daily operations.

Key responsibilities
As Reliability Manager you will lead the reliability function and help build a culture of continuous improvement by developing competences and introducing advanced reliability techniques. You ensure all terminal equipment and facilities perform at their optimum level of reliability and availability, meeting or even exceeding operational requirements.

Reporting to the Global Head of Asset Maintenance, you develop a long-term reliability strategy within the global AM department, focusing on improving competency and understanding of equipment reliability. You develop a team of discipline/trade specialists, who will focus on improving asset safety and reliability and who will be resolving complex technical issues.

Working closely with the lifecycle managers, you support them in the AM program refinement, and you develop strategies for the optimization and management of maintenance and repair costs through improved reliability. In the continuous drive for learning, you measure and benchmark reliability skills and knowledge and you develop and implement advanced/data-driven reliability techniques.

Other responsibilities include:
• Establish condition monitoring programs for critical assets
• Manage critical assets inspections programs and monitor outcomes
• Contribute to sharing best practices to improve global equipment maintenance strategies
• Provide input or professional advice for special reliability improvement projects, assets digitalization and procurement of new equipment or technology
• Lead defect elimination/root cause analysis reviews for major or repetitive failures

We are looking for
You hold an Engineering degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent and you have significant maintenance experience (9+ years) in relevant roles within the heavy asset industry. You have expertise in developing and applying reliability techniques as well as engineering trade for heavy equipment.

Having demonstrated leadership experience combined with change and stakeholder management, allow you to empower others to take action. You have a hands-on attitude to solve problems and strong analytical skills. Having experience with data-driven maintenance routines for digitalized terminal equipment, equipment remote condition monitoring and predictive maintenance practices, will help you to succeed in this role.

Being a strong communicator and having great interpersonal skills help you to influence and engage with all levels of the organization. Acting as a change agent you have the ability to drive improvements and influence how we will operate.

Your English communication skills are excellent both in speaking as well as in writing. Your computer skills are strong in statistical tools and programs (e.g. Stata, R, etc) as well as in standard and preferably in professional programs (i.e. MS Office, Database, ERP/CMMS systems).
