The Opportunity
Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as theSenior Capacity Building Manager (Agile) in the UK (London or Remote) or any existing Save the Children International Regional or Country office worldwide.
ROLE PURPOSE:
Accelerating Delivery and Improvement (ADI) is a capacity-building initiative designed to enable Save the Children colleagues and teams to become more effective and efficient in delivering results. Through a structured capacity-building program, events and tailored business improvement support, the ADI Team’s goal is creating a culture of continuous improvement in our ways of working across the Save the Children movement. ADI support offers draw on proven approaches from continuous improvement, planning and implementation, change management and stakeholder engagement.
The Senior Capacity Building Manager will play a central role in achieving this goal. The successful candidate will have demonstrable expertise in both the delivery and creation of capacity-building interventions. They will partner with senior management and their staff throughout all parts of the global- organization to increase capacity and capabilities, identify improvement areas, deliver measurable and sustainable change, and drive efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organisation – all to embed a culture of change, delivery and improvement.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Essential:
Cross-functional leadership, building effective teams, and reaching objectives through influence is critical.
Experience of embedding Agile ways of working and frameworks as well as supporting these types of mindset shifts within a global organisation
Experience delivering improvements through the application of project management and/or continuous improvement tools and techniques.
Strong verbal and written communication skills across all cultures.
Strong facilitation skills with the ability to empower others to facilitate in challenging contexts
Able to prioritize time and tasks and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Managerial courage is critical in this role.
Significant experience in managing and creating processes and workflows, including finance and operations.
Demonstrated data analysis proficiency
Desirable:
Proficiency in Spanish or Arabic
We can offer circa £56,160 per annum (If based in the UK) with an option of flexible working hours. If the role is based outside of the UK, National Terms & Conditions (including pay and benefits) will apply.
This role can be based in the UK (London or Remote) or any existing Save the Children International Regional or Country office location on approval, provided the successful candidate has proof of eligibility to work from the preferred location for the duration of the contract.
