ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
Assisting almost 100 million people in around 83 countries each year, the World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. WFP’s greatest strength is its 18,000+ dedicated people working tirelessly around the world to reduce hunger, often under difficult conditions where security threats and risks to personal safety are considerable.

JOB PURPOSE
The TALENT SOURCING SPECIALIST will be based in our Regional Bureau Cairo, Egypt supporting 17 Country Offices in the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Europe & Central Asia region. They will develop, gain support for, and implement the strategies needed to identify, attract, and acquire the best talent to meet WFP’s Country Office needs. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for workforce diversity; constantly thinks about how to introduce new methods and ideas for identifying and engaging top talent; and successfully enlists support from the various stakeholders for talent attraction, networking and workforce diversity engagement initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
• Collaborate with HR colleagues and Hiring Managers to understand position objectives, determine candidate requirements and sourcing options.
• Research availability of gender diverse talent pools for select roles to advise & consult with recruiters & hiring managers to develop a strategy to engage and attract such talent
• Utilize multiple sourcing tools and advanced sourcing techniques to identify talent for open requisitions, such as online social networking, cold-calling, traditional networking, Boolean searches and referrals.
• Proactively build underrepresented talent pools through active sourcing, recruiting events, sourcing campaigns, diaspora, diversity partnership opportunities
• Improve gender diversity and drive improvements on talent attraction and recruitment approaches, especially to attract qualified female candidates (with special attention on diaspora) to hardship locations
• Develop / Update macrolevel country specific Labour Market Reports and Presentations
• Screen resumes and interview candidates
• Reporting on impact of sourcing and support capability training/ transfer to colleagues in the field to create a ripple effect and truly create that capability across the region
• Recommend (where needed) new sourcing tools or approaches through in-depth market research
• Proactively stay informed of latest trends and developments in the area of talent sourcing and attraction to constantly support WFP to optimize and improve its practices

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
• Advanced university degree in Human Resource Management, Public or Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or other relevant field.

Language :
• Fluency (level C) in oral and written English language

Experience :

• Four or more years of postgraduate professional experience in the field of Talent Acquisition, of which at least 3 at international or regional level. Experience working as part of a multicultural and diverse team, and/or leading one.
• Deep knowledge of the recruiting market and trends in the Middle East
• Demonstrated success developing and deploying creative, effective candidate pipeline development methodologies and effective outreach strategies.
• Structured and lead multiple talent projects simultaneously to successful completion.
• Experience in sourcing and recruiting hard-to-find profiles.
• Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, technology, and sourcing tools. Experience with SAP recruitment platforms is highly desirable.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Ability to leverage social media to connect with diverse communities to do Employer Branding and recruitment marketing
• Sound theoretical understanding of HR concepts and principles with a broad knowledge of best practices, techniques and processes
• Experience in psychometric and cognitive abilities assessment tools would be an added advantage
• Experience in identifying senior level candidates highly desirable
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This position is open for Egyptian nationals only or individuals holding a valid work and residency permit for Egypt.

• The Service Contract is issued for 12 months (renewable)
• Starting salary for this position is EGP 34,889/month
• Monthly payment is complemented with contribution towards social security/pension
• International Medical Insurance provided for contractor and dependents (spouse and children)
• Attractive leave entitlements, incl. 30 annual leave days per 12 months
