Join TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC as a Workforce & Economic Development Coordinator reporting to our NYC office. This is a new addition to our team as we are strengthening our presence in renewable energies.




Workforce & Economic Development Coordinator qualifications include:



Undergraduate or graduate degree in Urban Planning, Political Science, Economic Development, Public Policy, Public Affairs, or a related field
1-2 years' experience in community economic development and/or workforce development or a related field (additional relevant experience will be considered)
Demonstrated project management skills, translated into ability to manage community partners, measure internal milestones and establish clear goals to meet project priorities in economic and workforce investments
Strong relationship manager and communicator, with the ability to manage partner relationships, scopes, and contracts
Familiarity with the social, political, and economic landscape of both New York and New Jersey
Excellent writing and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and establish clear and measurable objectives while prioritizing and organizing a varied workload
Experience of working collaboratively and problem solving within large, interdisciplinary teams
Knowledge of, experience with, or a passion related to clean energy projects or policy
Proficient in MS Office Suite, notably MS Excel
Ensures that economic and workforce development partnerships proposed during the OREC process are successfully implemented in New York and New Jersey
Supports the tracking and compliance for in-state spend commitments, job creation and organized labor commitments, commitments to overburdened communities and disadvantaged communities, and commitments to localize supply chain across New York and New Jersey
Ensures the project is collaboratively explained, designed and executed so all stakeholders are informed, consent, and ultimately support the project
Does so while optimizing project value to shareholders
Does so while developing and maintaining a great reputation for the company with all counterparts, based on reliability, punctuality, clarity of thoughts and dependability

Activités
The Workforce & Economic Development Coordinator specific responsibilities:
Support the implementation of a suite of community economic and workforce development programs – taking them from high-level concept to detailed on-the-ground roll out
In coordination with legal and procurement, support the development of grant agreements and programs, and perform program and contract administration of such initiatives
Work alongside team Manager and Specialist to map out and closely monitor program scopes, milestones, timelines, reporting, and budgets
Support ongoing coordination and management of community partner scopes and contracts for 20+ social equity programs
Support the tracking and compliance for in-state spend commitments, job creation and organized labor commitments, commitments to overburdened communities and disadvantaged communities, and commitments to localize supply chain across New York and New Jersey
Incorporate ongoing stakeholder, community and workforce feedback to determine investment and partnering strategies
Support the preparation and delivery of presentations to senior leadership with regular reporting updates on strategic milestones
Support Labor Liaison as needed to liaise between labor and union entities relevant to trainings and workforce investment
Engage public and private training and educational centers and workforce programs to support project goals and workforce needs
Ensure program alignment with Attentive Energy DEIJ goals and equity-driven investments
Support ongoing engagement strategy focused on disadvantaged communities relevant to economic and workforce development goals
Represent Attentive Energy in industry and trade organizations, attend respective meetings, conferences, and public events, and participate in working groups as needed.

TotalEnergies Renewables USA currently has offices in San Francisco, Boston, Austin, Houston, and NYC. The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on experience, qualifications, and market.
