In this role, you will be responsible for translate the business strategy and company people vision into people and organizational agendas across assigned Global Functions to increase engagement, capabilities and business performance. In addition, responsible for leading cross functional/geographical activities in the APMT Global organization based on evolving business/HR priorities.

In this role, you will have 2 core goals: Being a labor law subject matter expert to the HR Team and the main partner and contact into our works councils and employee representatives across our area and ensure that you build trusting relationships with key stakeholders in the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role partners with the leadership teams and HR units on a local and regional level, leads dialogues, and evaluates with HR and senior leaders about needs, priorities and opportunities to translate regional and terminal People and Org strategies into local action plans.
You will be part of a terminal management team; HRBP to the MD; active contributor in the definition of the strategy for the local business, Policy Deployment, Kaizens. Supporting APMT projects that require HR alignment and coordination.
You will support the MD and other senior leaders who are working towards the development of highly engaged, diverse and high performing Terminal teams.
In partnership with MD and local LTs, ensuring plans are in place to close local capability gaps; govern the org. structure for cost and ease of doing business; sparring with local leadership to ensure they have plans to achieve high engagement.
You will support terminal leaders on local talent management and ensuring terminal is well represented in succession discussions with Region/HQ HRBPs.
You will be the Terminal lead for HR Standard Work, enabling good people decisions based on quality data and insights.
You will be the Senior HR on site. Daily liaison with PPO to ensure new HR service model is meeting APMT needs.
Where relevant connecting and engaging all HR resources that will contribute to the success of the terminal.
You will work closely with Regional HRBPs and ensure there is constant alignment with region on future terminal organisation and standards

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We seeking an experienced Human Resource (HR) Business Partner, with strong employee relations experience to join our team! As a HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting our People Agenda.


As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:
A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in senior HR Business partnering position within an international matrix organization.
Excellence in influencing senior stakeholders, conceptualizing and shaping strategies, challenging perceptions and expanding points of view while acting as the trusted advisor.
Experience working actively with employee bodies, such as staff councils.
Resilience and maturity in dealing with change/uncertainty and delivering results in challenging environments.
Proven record in building solid relationships and stakeholder networks.
Possess empathy, personal tact, cultural understanding and strong communication skills, integrity.
Good communication skills, pragmatic, solution-oriented and proactive approach.
Good analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple requests/projects at the same time while prioritizing and executing in time.
Ambitious and result oriented self-starter with initiative and strong drive.
Listening skills with the ability to interpret the difference between individual (behaviors, personal issues and suggestions) and global issues.
Understanding of logistics, terminal, transport and shipping industries would be a great advantage.
Able to build rapport with all levels of the organization.
